Kanye West (Ft.Young Jeezy) 'Amazin'

Pretty standard Mr. West. Word on the grape vine is that his next single, Paranoid, will include a verse from Rihanna.

Global Music Sales Tumble 8%

Global music sales fell by more than 8% to $18.42bn (£12.67bn) in 2008, according to the body that represents the record industry worldwide.

Physical formats like CDs and vinyl performed particularly badly - dropping by 15% globally and 31% in the US. Sales of digital formats like MP3s and ringtones grew by 24% worldwide but failed to make up the shortfall.

This is partly due to the lower price of downloads, but also because people tend not to buy entire albums online. According to figures released by the Official Charts Company earlier this year, Only 10.3m albums were downloaded in the UK last year, compared to 110.3m singles, or individual tracks.

New Basement Jaxx

They are back with a hot new single called Raindrops, I've had quick listen and it seems pretty decent, but it's not immediately grabbing. With summer jsut around the corner, I can see this going top 10.

Eminem's Next Single

Eminem's rumoured second single from upcoming album Relapse is called 3am and leaked in full onto the internet yesterday. If you weren't keen on We Made You, then I doubt you'll like this either.

Ciara 'Fantasy Ride'

Until The Black Eyed Peas release The E.N.D, this is going to be the best album of the year. The retail copy of the album finally leaked and you can download below. Please make sure you buy it on May 5th. Work and I Don't Remember are the best tracks on the album.

Eminem - 'Relapse' Cover

Peep the official album cover for, what is being billed as, Eminem's big comeback 'Relapse' (due May 19th). Great cover; that said, I'm thinking, judging by the material heard thus far, that the cover may very well be the best thing about the record.

Hush Hush;Hush Hush Details

In case you weren't aware, The Pussycat Dolls' next single is Hush Hush; Hush Hush. Not a good choice, but this era has been a completemess for them; the Bottle Pop video was a complete waste of time as they seem to have ditched it in favour of Jai Ho! Will we get a video for Hush Hush? Also, notice they are alwyas PCD featuring Nicole Scherzinger now? I think they are trying to lift her profile for a potential solo release at some point.

Anyway, here is the promo CD download below for the release, most of you will have the original cut, but this also includes the Hush Hush/ I WIll Survive mash up from Doll Domination 2.0

Two Fantasy Ride Leaks

Here are the final two previously unheard tracks to leak from Ciara's upcoming release Fantasy Ride. This means we now have every single track in one form or another, but some may still be in demo form. The first track is called Like A Surgeon and seems to be fully mastered, as does the second titled Tell Me What Your Name Is.

Download / Like A Surgeon

This album is so insanely good, but I am so disappointed that she pretty much realeased tracks that we already had. I guess it's my own fault for listening to leaks, and one of the major downsides of file sharing, that you get to hear unfinished, inferior works instead of the final product.

New David Guetta (Ft. Kelly Rowland)

Here is a really hot summer song by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland, this will be smacked hard on the radios over the next few months. It's a bit different for Kelly, but she definitely pulls it off.

Gaga covers Coldplay

Lady Gaga decided to cover Colplay's Viva La Vida. It's a bit of a hot mess, but her hardcore fans will probably enjoy it. She fucks up a few times, but takes the piss of herself so it's quite funny. She did it for Radio 1's Live Lounge so it's acoustic, but nevertheless in HQ.

Jamie Foxx Next Single

Here is Jamie Foxx's next single, it is titled I Don't Need It and it features Timbaland. I think he needs to slow down a bit, Blame It (Ft. T-Pain) is still sitting pretty at #5 on US Billboard Hot 100 and shows no sign of dropping. This song isn't as good as Blame It, has all the hallmarks of a decent Timbaland production.

UPDATE: Okay this song is a MAJOR grower

BEP - Boom Boom Pow Video Premiere

I'm a bit dissapointed; it's not awful, but it's not particularly innovative either. Oh well it's good to see fergie back on our screens. Their album, The E.N.D is out June 8th.
It's Been a while....

New Booty Luv Single

The new Booty Luv single has premiered on Radio One, and it is fierce! THe track is titled Say It and continues their electro/disco format that has proved so successful for the duo in the past.

Alesha Dixon 'Let's Get Excited' Video

UK vixen Alesha Dixon premiered the video for 'Let's Get Excited' today, the third single from her smash album 'The Alesha Show'. While it's predecessors 'The Boy Does Nothing' and 'Breathe Slow' were great cuts, there's little that 'excites' me about both this song and video. Put simply, neither then song or it's accompanying clip, I feel, are strong enough to keep up the momentum Alesha has going at the minute. Of course, things could go otherwise...

New Chris Brown

Here is a new leak from Chris Brown tiled Nuthin', the track is produced by the underdogs who produced Britney's Womanizer and Mannequin. The song is a slow one, and not particularly good, but I thought I would post it for the fans he still has, yes both of you.

Gimme More Tour Remix

Here is the remix of Gimme More that is being used on tour. Since a lot of people who have seen the tour either in person or online have been wanting/searching for this version, I decided to upload for everyone. Ooh and by the way, one of the dancers has let slip that a new song has just been added to the tour. Kill The Lights anyone?

Jessica Simpson Dropped From Her Label

When OK! called Columbia Nashville, the label which released Jess's country album, a telephone operator told us that Jessica Simpson has now "come off the label." We're awaiting further comment.

An official spokesperson for the label declined to comment. Have all those forgotten lyrics and hostile crowds finally caught up with Jessica Simpson?

A country music gossip site says that rumors are swirling that the pop-star-turned-country-singer has been dropped like a rock by her label, Columbia Nashville. Nashville Gab also notes that her information is no longer the label's Web site -- and it even conjectures that her sudden decision to go to Cabo rather than the ACMs could mean that she is now sans label.

New Kat DeLuna

I've sort of lost track of where we stand in terms of her releases. Was Unstoppable a buzz or a first single, who knows. Either way, her label are claiming that this the 'Official first single' from her upcoming album which is currently untitled. It is very brave and different to what she usually does, but it is also appaulingly bad. 10/10 for initiative, but 2/10 for song choice.

New Eminem Single

Here is the official first single by Eminem from his upcoming album Relapse. It is called We Made You and in true Eminiem form comprises of verses filled with celebrity bashing. It's not his best work, the beat is hot and fresh, but the lyrics and vocals let this down majorly. He hasn't reinvented himself at all, if I didn't know it was new I would have assumed it was from Marshall Mathers LP or even before that. Either way, with his name attached to it it will go sky high in the charts much like Crack A Bottle, but I expect it to drop hard and fast after its peak.

Download / We Made You

(P.S This material is such a step down from his last album Encore.)

Beyonce (Ft Kayne West) - Ego

This song is part of the next double A-side release from Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce. The radio edit features Kanye West rapping for about a minute at the start of the song. It's hideous!

'Reality TV Star, Turned Musician' Overload

Here are two artists that have both spawned from reality TV shows and barely deserve to be posted, but I will oblige and post them simply because they are quite popular on the forums. First up we have Brooke Hogan's (from MTV show Brooke Knows Nothing) latest record titled You Know It (Boys Get Your Girls), her last release reached #127 on Billboard Hot 100 so I don't think the public have much to fear in terms of actually having to hear here on the radio.

Second up is The Hills star Heidi Montag's latest leak called Your Love Found Me. It is in full HQ and produced by Paperboys whoever they are. Perez Hilton has been raving about this record on his massively popular blog which may boost it a bit I guess?

Scherzinger: 'My Solo Album Is Coming'

During the press rounds for the Pussycat Dolls' Doll Domination 2.0 re-release, lead singer Nicole Scherzinger revealed her ill-fated solo attempt is set to be resurrected very soon:
Chief Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger says her long-awaited solo album "may come more sooner than later," but after two years of projected release dates and delays she's not about to set one now.

"I think it'll just come out when it wants to come out, on its own," Scherzinger tells Billboard.com. "I'm still working on my album, and I'm very excited. I'm a relentless perfectionist. I get one chance to put out a first (solo) album, so when the right time comes I will put it out."Scherzinger has been working on the album, tentatively titled "My Name is Nicole," since 2006. She's released several singles -- "Whatever U Like," "Baby Love," "Puakenikeni" and "Supervillian" -- while several of the other songs considered for the project turned up on the Dolls' 2008 released "Doll Domination." The current incarnation of the album, she says, "is just in the works and in talks and in the writing process. I haven't started recording yet." She hopes to hit the studio in the summer, after the Dolls finish their run opening for Britney Spears and then tour Europe again."I'll be excited to get back with old friends -- will.i.am., Timbaland," says Scherzinger. She also plans to work with good pal Lady Gaga and hopes to continue a new association with Academy Award-winning Indian composer A.R. Rahman, who collaborated with Scherzinger and the Dolls on an English version of his "Slumdog Millionaire" track "Jai Ho!" {Source}
As talented as she is, Nicole seems to lack that certain something as a solo artist. That, or people are so fed up of having her shoved in our faces as the only face / voice of the Pussycat Dolls that anything more (i.e. her solo attempts) would just be too much.

Lady Gaga Celebrates Double #1

Lady GaGa becomes the first artist in nearly ten years to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with their first two chart entries, as "Poker Face" jumps 2-1. The New York native, born Stefani Germanotta, previously led the list for three weeks with "Just Dance" in January.

The last performer to launch with a pair of Hot 100 chart-toppers was Christina Aguilera, who reigned with "Genie in a Bottle" (1999) and "What a Girl Wants" (2000). Among women, Lady GaGa is only the fourth female artist in the last 25 years to open with a pair of No. 1s, joining Aguilera, Mariah Carey (1990) and Tiffany (1987)."Poker Face" also moves to the head of Hot Digital Songs, where it shifts 206,000 downloads in its 14th week on the chart, and rises 6-5 on Hot 100 Airplay.
